Climate Results. The GIZ sourcebook for climate-specific monitoring in the context of international cooperation
This GIZ-publication provides a uniform understanding of climate results for everyone who works on the planning, execution, monitoring or evaluation of environmental projects in the area of international cooperation. The study therefore recommends a categorisation of climate results that have already been acted on by the international climate initiative of the Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU).
Furthermore, the sourcebook assists projects with support for monitoring climate results and contributes to recording impacts of climate change related projects. Therefore, the sourcebook presents different approaches to assess the impact of GHG reduction projects, summarises the international discussion on monitoring climate results and, as a conclusion, provides step-bystep instructions for monitoring climate results in the areas of reduction and adaptation.
