Online Activities

The Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement provides various online platforms and activities that support knowledge exchange and joint learning.

Webinars

The Partnership regularly organises webinars to discuss current topics related to mitigation and MRV and to present knowledge products and tools. Webinars are often jointly organized with other organisations and held in different languages (English, French and Spanish). Most webinars are being recorded and published on the Partnership’s website. Below you can find a selection of our past webinars:

NAMA E-Learning

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is offering an online course ‘Development of Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs)’ via its Global Campus 21. This course has been developed and promoted under the auspices of the International Partnership on Mitigation and MRV. It provides users with basic knowledge on Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) in the context of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). The course has no sectoral focus but is meant as an introduction to NAMA development in general. It is free of charge and has four modules, which can be used separately or consecutively.

The online course is available at Global Campus 21, GIZ´s international platform for learning and cooperation: Link GC21

If you are involved in the implementation of mitigation action in your country or if you wish to make use of NAMAs to boost the sustainable development in your sector, this course will help you understand what NAMAs are, how your country can select the most advantageous NAMA ideas, and how a NAMA idea can be developed to a full-fledged NAMA which is ready for implementation. The course will allow you to go through a step by step process of choosing NAMA ideas and developing a design for your NAMA ideas.

You can go through the four modules of this course at your own pace and your preferred order. In 2015 two tutored runs of the course were offered.
