Climate Action and Support Transparency Training programme on greenhouse gases
The Partnership for Transparency in the Paris Agreement is sponsoring five participants in the Climate Action and Support Transparency Training (CASTT) programme on greenhouse gases (GHGs), which is organised by the Greenhouse Gas Inventory & Research Center of Korea (GIR) in cooperation with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) secretariat. This training programme is geared towards experts from various developing countries around the world. The major elements of the programme include:
- Reporting and review under the UNFCCC and the Paris Agreement
- GHG inventory compilation
- Sectoral GHG measuring, reporting and verification (MRV)
- Hands-on expertise
The training is taking place from 26 June to 20 July in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
