Presentation of a NDC Accounting Tool that is adjustable to national circumstances of implementation
GIZ has developed together with its Colombian, Costa Rican and Mexican counterparts a NDC accounting tool based on its soon to be published NDC Accounting Guide. This achievement is within the framework of the “Accounting Rules for the Achievement of the Mitigation Goals of non-Annex 1 countries” project. It seeks to explore and apply pilot accounting cases that are responding to the corresponding requirements of the Paris Agreement.
It will be the first presentation of the tool to the public and in English language. It is in MS Excel to allow its widespread use for NDC accounting. We invite you to assist to this webinar to get to know the tool, its purpose and functionalities as well as to give us your feedback. The latter will allow us to improve the tool in the sense of a better fitting with country needs for those countries that have presented a mitigation target with respect to a reference year or a reference scenario.
The agenda of the webinar splits in three parts, a short introduction, the presentation of the tool and closes with a discussion and feedback round.
