This study provides a clear overview of current G20 transport emission levels, analyses existing approaches for decarbonising the transport sector and puts the spotlight on links to the energy sector. It includes fact sheets on each G20 member state that shed light on the specific situation and challenges in each country, including existing goals and efforts. The report concludes with a comparison of stated ambition with the policies and activities implemented, and takes into account required global reductions in the transport sector.
